Choosing a small dog carrier
While the ASPC doesn't recommend air travel with pets due to the risk of injury, illness or loss, there are certainly ways to keep you dog or cat safe on a sightseeing stroll or a road trip. An important part of that process is choosing a small dog carrier from A Pet's World that incorporates all of the following design features:
- Safety. There should be no lose-hanging parts or toxic materials.
- Ventilation. The interior should be open and airy. All those tony details are meaningless if Spike can't breathe.
- Suitability. A designer pet carrier should be appropriate for the mode of travel, whether via plane or car.
- Security. Pets should be properly restrained to prevent an animal running loose in the airport.
Balance. Make sure the tote sits level. Even a tiny small dog carrier will tip, possibly causing injury.
- Identification. The dog carrier should be clearly labeld with your contact information in case the worst happens.
- Comfort. Your comfort is important too. Get padded straps if you plan to carry your dog or cat a lot.
With a little forethought, it's happy sailing for you and your furry companion.
High fashion designer pet carrier
Of course, there's no reason a conscientious dog or cat lover can't keep Fifi safe and sound and still make her the most fashionable four-legged jetsetter in town. We at A Pet's World care about your beloved animals as much as you do, so we have taken all of these things into consideration in the development of all our totes, collars and leashes, clothing and accessories. But, fortunately, we don't have to sacrifice anything in the looks department in the design of the perfect - and perfectly safe - designer pet carrier.
